2268 Suspected, Parastichtis suspecta (Hübner, 1817)

Status and ecology:

A resident species occurring singly or sparingly but occasionally fairly common at mv light in a few woods or heathland. Very local if more than singletons are seen, distinctly irregular in appearance in many localities and missing from large central areas of the county. A single brooded species flying mainly from early June to the third week of August. The larval foodplant is birch, (not been determined yet in this county). (Pratt, 2011)
