2339 Tawny Marbled Minor, Oligia latruncula ([Denis & Schiffermüller], 1775)

Status and ecology:

Resident. Often fairly common to common at mv light along parts of the coast, but a little less frequent inland. Probably generally distributed, but high numbers are local. Single-brooded, flying mainly from late May to mid July, occasionally from the third week of May or to mid August.The larval foodplants have not been determined in Sussex but various unidentified grasses serve elsewhere. (Pratt, 2011)
