2347 Concolorous, Chortodes extrema (Hübner, 1809)

Status and ecology:

National Status: RDB3

Just two specimens of this presumably immigrant moth to Sussex have been detected. One was taken at Eastbourne in 1957 by R. E. Ellison (Buck, 1958c), probably to mercury vapour light in the town at Meads, and the other turned up at mv light amongst the shingle and reedy dykes at the Winchelsea end of Rye Harbour nature reserve on July 4th, 1985. (Pratt, 2011)
