Status and ecology:

National Status: Local

Resident. Occurs singly in a few places in a wide range of habitats in both vice-counties. Single or double-brooded, flying mainly from May to September. Larvae feed on dry vegetable goods and on animal and vegetable refuse. (Pratt, 2011)
