Status and ecology:

National Status: RDB3

Listed as Nationally Rare in the Red Data Book, this resident species is in danger of extinction in both vice-counties. Occurs sparingly at mv light. Very thinly distributed with less than a dozen colonies ever detected. Single-brooded flying mainly from early August to early September. Larvae feed on wild yellow iris, bulrush and common club-rush. (Pratt, 2011)
