2428 Golden Twin-spot, Chrysodeixis chalcites (Esper, 1789)

Status and ecology:

An immigrant species usually occurring singly at mv light but is occasionally seen sparingly along the coast particularly in the Arundel area. The moth arrives mainly between early August and late October. Larvae not recorded in Sussex but elsewhere feed on garden Chrysanthemum. (Pratt, 2011)
