Status and ecology:

National Status: RDB3

An immigrant and presumed currently extinct episodic resident. Last detected in East Sussex in 1958 and in West Sussex in 1979. Single-brooded flying mainly from late July to late August. Larvae feed on oak. (Pratt, 2011)
