Status and ecology:

National Status: Common

A resident species occurring singly or sparingly at mv light in shrubby places in both vice-counties. Only patchily distributed. Single-brooded, flying mainly from the third week of May to late June, occasionally to early August. Larvae feed on the shoots of sloe, sometimes on the blossoms. (Pratt, 2011).
