Status and ecology:

National Status: Local

A rare resident with single specimens netted and also caught at mv light. Not known in Sussex until 1932 but recorded at four sites since 1980. Moths have been reported from mid June until mid August. The larvae feed on pines in other counties. (Pratt, 2011).
