Status and ecology:

National Status: Local

A resident species, scarce in both vice-counties with recent records coming from just three locations. Apparently double-brooded, flying mainly from late June to late July and again episodically from mid-August to late November. Larvae feed on elm and beech. (Pratt, 2011)
