Status and ecology:

National Status: Common

A resident species, with adults occurring singly at mv light in a few woods in both vice-counties, while larvae are sometimes common, especially in the West. Double-brooded, flying mainly in July and October with the latter flight hibernating. Larvae feed on woody nightshade. (Pratt, 2011)
