Coleophoridae

526 Larch Case-bearer, Coleophora laricella (Hübner, 1817)

Status and ecology:

National Status: Common

A resident species, apparently astonishingly less frequent than its foodplant, with the only recent records coming from Tullecombe Forest (1996) and Rewell Wood (1997, 1999 and 2006). Larvae feed on larch. (Pratt, 2011)
