Coleophoridae

569 (Surrey Case-bearer), Coleophora squamosella Stainton, 1856

Status and ecology:

National Status: pRDB2

The only known record is of larvae being common in the seedheads of yarrow at the Crumbles in September 1956 (Pratt, 2011). Elsewhere the larvae is only known from blue fleabane (MBGBI Vol. 3) so this record would appear to be in error.
