Status and ecology:

National Status: Nationally Scarce B

Resident. Colonies are generally restricted to the downs where adults are scarce but larvae can occasionally be common. Double-brooded, flying in April to May and August, the larvae feed on glaucous sedge (Pratt, 2011).
