Status and ecology:

National Status: Common

Resident. Occurs in small numbers at mv light in a few grassy places in both vice-counties. Generally flies from mid April to mid May but a record from August suggests an occasional partial second brood. Larvae feed on various grasses elsewhere (Pratt, 2011).
