Status and ecology:

National Status: Nationally Scarce B

Single adults have been recorded at Icklesham and Newhaven in late May and early June, with a further record under unspecified circumstances in the Lewes area. Elsewhere there are two or more broods, flying from March to September (Pratt, 2011).
