Status and ecology:

National Status: Migrant colonist

A suspected continental immigrant, the first county came to mv light at Warnham LNR on on June 20th 2011. First discovered in the UK in Devon in 2003 (R. J. Heckford; in Langmaid & Young, 2004) after apparently expanding its range from Italy; larvae are said to feed underneath decaying wood, usually in oak. (Pratt, 2012).
