Status and ecology:

National Status: Local

A resident species, occurring singly or sparingly at mv light amongst open woodland in a very few places in both vice-counties. Single-brooded, flying mainly from early March to mid-April. Larvae feed on lime, birch and hornbeam. (Pratt, 2011)
