Status and ecology:

National Status: Extinct

Presumed extinct as last listed in 1905, Single-brooded, flying mainly during late October and again after hibernation from late March to late May. Larvae feed on the flowers and fruit of wild parsnip, hogweed and wild angelica. (Pratt, 2011)
