Status and ecology:

National Status: Local

A resident species, occurring singly in just a few places in both vice-counties Single-brooded, flying mainly during July and August and then, after hibernation, during the following April. Larvae feed on hedge parsley, wild carrot and cow parsley. (Pratt, 2011)
