Status and ecology:

National Status: Local

The earliest notice of this moth in both halves of the county on AM Emmet's national distribution map published in 1976. "Many" larval mines were identified feeding on evergreen oak at Chichester in April 2002, and Brighton in October 2007. Also 3 found three (Lamberhurst) 2006 and one St Helens, Hastings 2009. (Pratt, 2011)
