Status and ecology:

National Status: Nationally Scarce A

An occasional import in the fruits of apricot, almond and peach but also a suspected colonising immigrant in Sussex. A colony has been known in the Walberton area since 1991 and further examples have been found at Clapham Wood, Bracklesham and Findon Valley since 2009 (Pratt, 2011).
