Status and ecology:

National Status: Nationally Scarce B

A very rare, Nationally Notable moth. There are four 20th century records, all from the Lewes/Newhaven area. It comes infrequently to mv light and has also been netted. The larvae feed on the roots of common ragwort. (Pratt, 2011).
